Friday, October 29, 2021 – The Church Road (Wadams Way to Highway 14) expansion, utility upgrades and resurfacing are on track for late November/early December completion.
Church Road is currently open to Southbound traffic only from Country Road to Highway 14. This modified access will continue to be Southbound only until storm service upgrades are completed next week. Once this servicing work is done, the process will repeat on the other side of the street and traffic will be open Northbound only. This access on/off of Church Road will continue for the duration of the project.
Project Manager with Hazelwood Construction, Greg Field, provides this project update, “The deep utility construction will be complete next week. Much of the remaining work is off the road so there will be less of an impact on traffic (electrical, curb/sidewalk, landscaping, etc) until the end of November when we remove the existing asphalt surface and repave.”
Alternative access is available using Anne Marie Road.
