The project team recognizes this work will cause a prolonged period of noise that may be disruptive for neighbours. Please know alternatives to avoid this continual activity have been explored and are not advisable as they may significantly impact the quality of surface integral to the facility. In advance, thank you for your patience as this significant milestone on a long-anticipated community amenity is met.

The words of 8-year-old, Blake, capture the excitement for the project, “I want to go every day. I wonder if my mom will let me?”

Many thanks also to our project partner, SEAPARC, who will also be the facility operator.

Sooke’s multi-use sports box is being made possible thanks to an $892,778 Canada Infrastructure Program – Community, Culture, and Recreation Program grant and $400,000 contribution from Sunriver Estates.
