- This is not the time to gather with friends. Connect virtually and social distance.
- If you have travelled out of country, quarantine for 14 days.
- Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
- Cough or sneeze into your sleeve, not hands.
- Practice social distancing if you need to go out in the community – at grocery stores and appointments.
- Stay home if you feel sick.
- Don’t call for an ambulance for COVID-19 as it will not get you assessed faster.
- Use the BC Ministry of Health and BC Centre for Disease Control’s COVID-19 Self-Assessment Tool.
- If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or require assistance with other health issues, call HealthLinkBC at 8-1-1.
- Ensure you have a good supply of necessary prescriptions.
- If you are a senior who needs help, are aware of any seniors who need assistance, or want to volunteer to assist – call bc211
