Last month Council awarded the 2020 paving contract for the Road Improvement Program. The contractor is mobilizing to begin milling on Grant Road stating on Monday, July 6, 2020.
Traffic will be reduced to single land alternating traffic and residents are reminded to respect the traffic control personnel, posted signage and remove vehicles from the street during paving in their area.
Weather permitting, the 2020 portion of the program is expected to be complete within 2-3 weeks.
The following streets have been scheduled for paving in 2020:
- Grant Road (Gatewood Road to Winfield Drive)
- Pyrite Drive (Grant Road to Talc Place)
- Opal Place
- Cinnabar Place
- Otter Point Road (Rhodonite Drive to Eakin Drive)
- Eustace Road (Shields Road to Gatewood Road)
