On Wednesday, April 10th the District of Sooke will be working to restore sections of the trail on Whiffin Spit that were damaged during winter storms. Heavy equipment is required to be brought onto the trail in the park and it is requested that those utilizing the trail be mindful of their operations.
The trail will remain open to the public during construction which is expected to be complete in one (1) day. To ensure public and worker safety, it is requested that park users heed warning signs and direction of site crews. It is also requested that pets be kept on leash for their safety.
