Thursday, September 19, 11:38 am – As BC Hydro crews continue working in the area, Church Road is CLOSED at Highway 14. Please use an alternate route. Highway 14 remains open.
If possible, please avoid the area as crews continue to work. Be prepared for delays.

Thursday, September 19, 2024, 10:02 am – Thanks to the quick action of BC Hydro crews, power has been restored to all but approximately 160 properties on Church Road. BC Hydro crews will remain on the site throughout the day. Flaggers will direct traffic in the area while some delays expected.
Thursday, September 19, 2024, 9:00 a.m. – A motor vehicle incident this morning is impacting the intersection of Church Road and Highway 14.
At this time, Highway 14 remains open in both directions and area schools are open. However, a power outage is affecting approximately 6,000 properties in the area. BC Hydro is on the scene, assessing the situation.
One individual has been transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
