Tuesday, September 10, 2024 – The District of Sooke Municipal Hall will be closed to the public on Thursday, October 10, 2024, as staff take part in an all-day Team Development and Education session. The closure is part of the District’s ongoing commitment to professional development and delivering high-quality services to the community.
While the Municipal Hall will be closed, essential services will remain uninterrupted, ensuring that public safety and emergency response services, such as fire and police, continue to be fully operational.
Raechel Gray, Chief Administrative Officer, emphasized the importance of the day for staff development sharing, “Investing in our team is essential to providing the best possible service to the people of Sooke. This day of learning and collaboration will empower our staff to continue serving the community with efficiency and dedication,” said Gray.
The Municipal Hall will reopen on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. for regular business hours.
