Wednesday, May 1, 2024 – Today marks the beginning of pay parking for the season at Sooke Potholes Regional Park, running from May 1st to September 30th. Managed by Robbins Parking, this approaches support the sustainability of park services and managing park demands.
The revenue generated from parking fees directly contributes to the maintenance and improvement of park amenities. It’s important to note that while pay parking is enforced at Sooke Potholes, parking remains free at all other Sooke parks and regional trails, with the exception of the Sooke Boat Launch.
Key Details:
- Cost: $2.25 per day or $20 for a season’s pass, valid until September 30th.
- Payment Options: Accepts loonies, toonies, quarters, and credit cards. Honk Mobile system available for online payment or app download.
- No Physical Display: Pay-by-plate system eliminates the need to display passes in vehicles, enhancing convenience for visitors.
- Greener & Efficient: The new system ensures a greener, more convenient, and efficient method of parking administration, eliminating ticket sharing and enabling more effective lot patrolling.
- Visitors are reminded that the park is open from sunrise to sunset, and parking is free during the off-season (October 1st to April 30th).
