INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS
The District of Sooke encourages members of the community to be safe while enjoying this winter wonderland weather system. As a reminder, we are a small municipality that has a contract for snow clearing with Main Road Contracting and they will be clearing the main arterial roadways and, time permitting, will reach side streets. If you would like more information about snow clearing in your area, please contact:

We will ensure the parking lots of municipally owned properties and adjacent sidewalks are cleared of snow. Be reminded that, as the owner or occupier of a property you should remove snow and ice from the sidewalk and footpaths in front of your property within 24 hours of accumulation.
