The Pink Salmon Festival introduces youth to the joy, excitement, and satisfaction of fishing for pink salmon. Volunteers are sport and charter fishermen who enjoy the sport and wish to “Take a Kid Fishing”
Young anglers will head out for three hours of great salmon fishing near Sooke Harbour, Jocks Dock, Cheanuh Marina and Pedder Bay Marina.
Skippers and boat owners volunteer their boats and time, and generous individuals, businesses and organizations sponsor the event with prizes and cash.
