Wednesday, December 13, 2023 – The Long Service Awards program celebrates and commemorates District of Sooke employees’ long-term commitment and loyalty of employees reaching five-year employment milestones.
At the December 11, 2023 Regular Council Meeting, Deputy Mayor Al Beddows recognized four team members for their dedication, knowledge sharing and support in helping the District work towards its vision as an inclusive, healthy and self-sufficient community:
- Stacey Daley, Finance, for 15 years;
- Jason Low, Parks, for 5 years;
- Raechel Gray, CAO/Finance, for 5 years; and
- Scott Cullum, Bylaw, for 5 years.
“We are incredibly grateful for the contributions of our long-serving employees who have dedicated themselves in service to residents of Sooke,” said Mayor Maya Tait. “Their knowledge, experience, and commitment are commendable, and we are honoured to have them as part of our team.”
As the District of Sooke continues to evolve, the dedication and experience of these long-serving employees serve as a source of support for all members of the team and the community.
