Monday, October 21, 2024 – The District of Sooke and the Sooke Lions are excited to invite community groups, local businesses, and individuals to participate in this year’s Sooke Holiday Parade, taking place on Sunday, December 8, 2024. This year’s theme, “Silver Bells,” celebrates the 25th anniversary of the District of Sooke’s incorporation.
Whether you’re designing a float, dressing up in festive attire, or showcasing your creativity with a walking group, we encourage you to get involved and help bring holiday magic to the streets of Sooke. The parade will follow a NEW route, beginning at Journey Middle School, travelling down Throup Road, through Church Road, and finishing on Wadams Way.

- Date: Sunday, December 8, 2024
- Time: Parade starts at 5:00 pm; pre-parade festivities begin at 4:00 pm at the Sooke Branch of the Vancouver Island Regional Library.
- Route: Journey Middle School > Throup Road > Church Road > Wadams Way (See map below).
How to Participate:
Sign up your group, business, or organization to join the parade by submitting your APPLICATION FORM on the Sooke Lions website. Applications are due by November 25, 2024.
