The Sooke Region Communities Health Network (SRCHN) is looking for volunteers for our Board of Directors. We are looking for people who are passionate about Sooke, want to make an impact in our community and believe in SRCHN’s mission — to support healthy lives in healthy communities through innovative, collaborative development and improvement of services for everyone.
SRCHN offers a range of seniors, health and community programs and we are working on two larger projects: developing the Sooke Gathering Place, a seniors’ drop-in centre, as part of the proposed Elders Complex; and the Sooke Region community health centre, to open in 2025.
We are looking for people who have previous experience as Board Members, experience in overseeing development projects or have financial or accounting backgrounds. For more information, please see the “Board of Directors” Section on the SRCHN website.
