Friday, June 21, 2024 – In order to ensure the safety of visitors and pets, and to minimize disruption, Whiffin Spit will be temporarily closed for maintenance on Monday, June 24, 2024. The closure will be in effect from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM on that day.
During this period, staff and contractors will be using large equipment to conduct essential servicing along the trail to enhance its quality and safety for all users.
We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause and appreciate the public’s cooperation. Regular trail access will resume immediately following the completion of the maintenance work at 4:00 PM.
