District Introduces New Wastewater Treatment Plant Manager

DISTRICT INTRODUCES NEW WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT MANAGER
 April 26, 2016 [Sooke, BC]

The District of Sooke is happy to introduce Dan Skidmore as the new Manager of the District’s Wastewater Treatment Plant. Dan is an experienced industry professional, having spent many years in environmental operations in both Alberta and BC. Dan holds the highest level of certification (Level 4) in both wastewater collection and water distribution with Environmental Operators Certification Program in BC. He is also one of the first Canadians to have received a professional designation in wastewater collection as a Professional Operator with the Certification Commission for Environmental Professionals of the Association of Boards of Certification. Most recently, Dan held the position of Wastewater Manager with EPCOR. Director of Development Services, Rob Howat, said, “The District is very fortunate to have someone with Dan’s experience on staff. His extensive knowledge of the wastewater industry and commitment to excellence throughout his career will be tremendous assets as the District transitions to managing its wastewater system.”
