Mayor Maja Tait would like to invite members of the public to an informal discussion regarding Sooke’s parks, trails and greenspaces.
Users of these amenities are encouraged to attend an upcoming workshop to share their ideas on challenges and opportunities for municipal consideration. The workshop is scheduled for March 23, 2018 from 9:00 am – 11:30 am in the District of Sooke Council Chambers at 2225 Otter Point Road.
“Increasing the connectivity of our trails infrastructure, as well as creating spaces for residents to gather and enjoy Sooke’s natural beauty are priorities of Council,” said Mayor Maja Tait. “Following the excellent work of our former Parks and Trails Advisory Committee, I look forward to receiving public input and moving forward on recommendations for improving our trails and greenspaces.”
