Update, Friday November 22, 2024 – This work schedule has been revised to include work on Saturday November 23, 2024. Work now scheduled to occur, 7:00AM to 3:00PM, on the following dates:

Again, single lane alternating traffic will be in place and every effort will be made to minimize delays while this work is completed.
Wednesday, November 20, 2024 – As previously communicated, the Charters Road construction project will require an additional three days of full road closures. However, we are pleased to announce that, in collaboration with the contractor, single-lane alternating traffic will be implemented instead of a full closure. This will occur over a 4-day period: November 21- 22 and November 25-26, 2024. We hope the trade-off of the extended work day will better manage subsequent traffic impacts which may occur on Highway 14.
- Dates and Times: Work will occur on Thursday, November 21-Friday, November 22, and Monday, November 25-Tuesday, November 26 from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with single-lane alternating traffic on Charters Road as required.
- Traffic Delays:
- Efforts are being made to minimize disruptions and accommodate traffic flow wherever possible.
- Anticipate delays of up to 5 minutes.
- Access Changes:
- A “Road Closed – Local Traffic Only” sign will be placed at the intersection of Kennedy Street and Golledge Road.
- Golledge Road closures (east and west of Charters Road) will occur one at a time, with signage in place to guide traffic.
