Sooke Celebrates Earth Week, April 19-23, 2022

Five days. Ten activities. One world of difference.

Friday, April 8, 2022 – During EARTH WEEK, April 19 to 23, 2022, the District of Sooke will be introducing you to “living” elements of the District’s (in progress) Climate Resilience and Regeneration Strategy.

Through theme areas of how we move, how we grow, how we build and how we relate, you’re invited to participate in activities and events throughout the week, make a pledge and ENTER TO WIN AN E-BIKE from Fuca Cycles because making a difference and reaching our climate action targets is in our nature!

Sooke has a target to reduce emissions by 50% by 2030 and it will take all of us working together, along with other levels of government, to reach this target.
