Tuesday, May 23, 2023 – The Carter Navarette Dog Park is getting an addition. Construction of a gazebo, as identified as a park priority by the community during consultation and planning of the park, will take place this week and next resulting in modified hours of operation.
The dog park will be closed Tuesday-Friday, May 23-May 26 AND Monday, May 29-Friday, June 2 from 7am to 4:30 pm each day while the work is completed.
While this work is undertaken, more gravel surfacing will be placed to reduce the winter mud and enhance the year-round function of the park.
