Wednesday, January 8, 2025 – The District of Sooke and the Sooke RCMP Detachment are excited to host “Coffee with a Cop” on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Café Vosino (6715 Eustace Road).
This event provides an opportunity for residents to meet with members of the Sooke RCMP in a relaxed and welcoming environment. “Coffee with a Cop” aims to break down barriers between police officers and the community by encouraging open dialogue, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Complimentary coffee will be provided for all attendees.
“Building strong relationships with the community we serve is vital to our work. ‘Coffee with a Cop’ is a chance for residents to meet our officers, ask questions, and share concerns in a casual and friendly setting,” says Staff Sergeant Greg Willcocks, Sooke RCMP Detachment Commander. “We look forward to getting to know our neighbours better and hearing directly from them about what matters most in Sooke.”
