Highway 14 construction continues until September 2022

Tuesday, December 2, 2020 –  The District of Sooke thanks residents for their patience during the ongoing Highway 14 construction.

Windley Contracting Ltd. has advised that they will commence construction on Highway 14 Connie Road to Glinz Lake Road. During construction, motorists can expect delays. They have developed a Traffic Management Plan acceptable to the Ministry of Transportation to minimize traffic impacts especially to emergency services, transit, local property owners and commuters. For your information, emergency services will always be given access.

There will be no work impacting traffic during any long weekend.

  • Location: Highway No 14 – Connie Rd to Glinz Lake Rd
  • Hours of Work: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Duration: November 2020 – September 2022
