The District of Sooke would like to provide an update on the status of the Murray Road Staircase, which provides access to the Sooke Rotary Pier and Boardwalk. This staircase will remain closed while the damaged portions are removed. Upon completion of geotechnical and archeological assessments, we will begin the process of tendering the project for construction in the fall of 2017.
