Please be aware that there is an active brush fire near the 4100 block of Sooke Road. Currently the Sooke Fire Department is offering mutual aid to the Metchosin Fire Department in this area.
There is a road closure in both directions, alternate routes have been established, and crews are onsite assisting with the direction of traffic along these routes.
Please avoid the area if possible. Updates will be provided as they are made available.
