The District of Sooke is experiencing a higher than usual number of 48-hour building permit applications. It has become apparent that at this time, staff can no longer complete the necessary assessment of these applications and determine their suitability for issuance within a 48-hour time frame. While every effort will be made to maintain reasonable turnaround times for the applications, the District of Sooke appreciates our clients’ understanding and patience with this situation, as we move forward with their application.
