Bike Rack for Business Program

We are making it easy for you to ensure bike parking is an option for your customers, visitors and staff!
Through the Bike Rack for Business Program, a limited number of public bike racks will be fabricated, installed, and provided to local businesses at no cost, funded through the District’s Climate Action Program.
Businesses interested in receiving a bike rack can submit an online application form to express their interest. The program is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so businesses are encouraged to apply early. The program will remain open until all units are claimed.

Bike Rack for Business Program Criteria
When completing your applicable, please be prepared with the following information:
- Business Location: Businesses must be located within the District of Sooke.
- Current Business License: Applicants must hold a valid business license with the District of Sooke and provide their business license number.
- Business Ownership Type: Specify whether the business is a tenant or landlord.
- Permission for Installation (if tenant): Tenants must provide written permission from their landlord for bike rack installation.
- Commitment to Maintenance: Applicants must agree to maintain the bike rack in good condition after installation.
- Suggested Installation Location: Applicant must suggest and include a photo of the proposed installation site.
