At the January 13, 2020 Regular Council meeting, District of Sooke Council adopted a new Community Grants & Sponsorship Policy. The new policy is designed to provide guidance to Council and staff regarding the administration of community grants and sponsorship funding requests, and to serve as a resource for organizations seeking District of Sooke community grant or sponsorship funding.
The newly adopted policy changes the application deadline for Community Grants to March 15, 2020. Other changes include an updated application form and final report template.

For the purposes of considering 2020 Community Grant applications, both the previous and newly adopted application forms will be accepted. Applications for 2020 Community Grant funding submitted prior to the January 13, 2020 policy change will be retained and forwarded to Council for consideration after the March 15, 2020 deadline.
