On May 17, 2010, the District of Sooke Council approved our community’s Official Community Plan (OCP, 2010). The Official Community Plan is presently being revised. A variety of engagement opportunities are planned and the District would like to hear from its residents about their vision for our community.
WHAT IS THE OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN?
The Official Community Plan (commonly referred to as an OCP) establishes the vision, objectives, goals and priorities for how Sooke will grow and evolve into the future. The OCP sets out a clear community vision today, in order to shape Sooke’s future in a way that is healthy and sustainable, while providing a great quality of life for current and future residents.
