Some simple search tools are available:

Search For Address:

  1. Click on “Address” on the toolbar.
  2. Enter an address in the white box (e.g., 2205 Otter Point Rd), and click on find.
  3. The results will be listed on the left-hand side of the screen, and marked with a red “pushpin” symbol on the map.
  4. RIGHT-CLICK on the results to see a menu of options that include “Zoom To”, “Pan To” and “Remove”.
  5. “Zoom-To” will center and zoom-in on the map at the selected address.

 

Search For PID:

  1. Click on “PID” on the toolbar.
  2. Enter a nine-digit PID in the white box (e.g., 018-855-245), and click on find.
  3. The results will be listed on the left-hand side of the screen, and marked on the map with a cyan highlight.
  4. RIGHT-CLICK on the results to see a menu of options that include “Zoom To”, “Pan To” and “Remove”.
  5. “Zoom-To” will center and zoom-in on the map at the selected property.

Assigned addresses and road names within the District of Sooke. Updates occur regularly.

Place Names

Names of landmarks and places of interest.

Parcels and Rights of Way

Property boundaries as compiled from survey plans registered at Land Titles Office. Boundaries are updated on a regular basis as registered survey plans are received from the Land Titles Office.

District of Sooke municipal boundary.

Contours (2-metre)

Ground elevation isolines at 2-metre intervals.

Green Spaces

Park lands and recreation areas.

Town Centre Revitalization Area

Town Centre Revitalization Area boundary.

Fire Service Areas

Sewer Service Area boundaries.

Water Features

Creeks, Streams, Rivers, Lakes.  Original locations based on the BC Provincial TRIM data. Updated and maintained through ongoing projects and surveys.
